Hard Set Flooring Adhesive ACR-V1

DAT ACR-V1 is a multi-purpose professional adhesive solution for installing vinyl flooring in commercial, retail, and DIY projects. This hard-set adhesive offers high resistance to plasticiser migration, superior bonding strength, and antimicrobial properties to help prevent mould growth and maintain a clean bond line.

Features

DAT ACR-V1 comes ready mixed (1 component) and should be applied by trowel directly to the substrate (concrete, sand/cement screeds, chipboard, hardboard, plywood). The floor covering can be placed into the wet adhesive or when the adhesive has started to become tacky.

Ideal for commercial areas, hospitals, sports facilities, schools, and residential/domestic uses.

1. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and free from dust, grit, oil and grease.

2. The subfloor should be tested to relevant standards to ensure that it is appropriately dry.

3. Any areas of the subfloor in need of localised repairs should be patched up to achieve a smooth and level base.

4. Subfloors with high porosity should be primed prior to applying adhesive and allowed to fully dry.

5. Evenly trowel adhesive out on to the subfloor in sections.
6. Allow a minimum 5-minute open time.
7. Ensure the adhesive is still offering wet transfer (use the finger test) before laying flooring. A longer open time may be preferred for tile applications to minimise slippage.
8. After application, use a roller to apply even pressure, ensuring full contact between the adhesive and the flooring.
